Happy ‘Jesus Year’ Birthday to me. East coast oysters, tortilla batata, brick chicken and fish stew last Saturday- oh my! I didn’t eat it all myself of course – Dave ordered the chicken and I ordered the fish. I think I ate most of everything though.
I want to go back to the store to shop. I kept picking up and fondling a $15 bottle of Lavender Flower Syrup from France – partly because it was on the shelf right in front of me while we ate, but also because it was in a really cool bottle that I could see myself re-using over and over again.
The Spanish tortilla was served up room temperature/slightly cool – i’d call it ‘lukecool’. It had little pieces of bacon or chorizo or crack in it. Tasty.
Da Bomb. The brick chicken was really crisp and juicy. Kinda like fried chicken, but without the batter. The bass was awesome, too. It was sitting in a really tasty liquid.
